FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
If you have any additional question not covered below, feel freel to email it to us and we will be happy to reply it asap.
1. What should I do before waxing?
A. Your hair needs to be at least one quarter inch long to be waxed. You may feel more comfortable if you take a good warm shower before being waxed. Check our before and after waxing tips clicking here.
2. How painful is it?
A. Pain sensation varies from person to person, and from the area of our body. You actually feel the instant snap but it is gone right after the pluck. Most of our clients (see reviews) say that our waxing technique is virtually pain free. If you are very sensitive, you may take a pain killer one hour before waxing or get a numbing serum from us.
3. How often should I get waxed?
A. Your hair usually grows one quarter of an inch in 3 to 4 weeks. After that, a second and a third hair may start growing in each follicle, and the hairs will be thicker and coarser, which means your next waxing could be somewhat more painful. If you get the habit of waxing every 3 to 4 weeks you won't worry about pain anymore.
4. When should I avoid waxing?
A. You should avoid being waxed too close to your periods. However, you can be waxed during your pregnancy.
5. How to treat and avoid ingrown hair?
A. Ask us about our exfoliating gloves, sugar scrub, creams, and ingrown hair serum for you to exfoliate and apply 48 hours after waxed. If you already have ingrown hair we offer facials and vajacial to remove ingrown hair and to treat your skin.
